Day 12 Architecture and Monochrome
A walk round the village in the evening, in the golden hour.
Monochrome is amazing. Couldn’t work out how to set my camera to mono even though I have done it before so had to imagine what the picture would look like once converted. Interesting that the golden hour still affects pictures even though they are going to be black and white.

Interesting – I didn’t realize that the golden hour could look so different in monochrome and still look special. The reflection of light on the mill windows caught my attention. You have opened my eyes to b & w photography!

Me too! Surprising that golden hour would make such a difference. I took similar photos last year (they are just yards from our house) so its good to go back again and see a difference, thanks!
